Before you begin painting your home's walls, ceiling, woodwork, doors, or cabins you need to estimate the amount of paint you'll use. First, measure, in meter, the length of one wall you will paint, and Measure the height of that wall, in meter. Write down both measurements. Multiply those measurements to find the surface area of wall and also ceiling for painting. Determine the total length around the room by adding together the length of all the walls then use the following calculator to estimate how much paint you will need for your painting project. Notice: Depend on what type of surface you are going to use the paint on, if you have a surface that is porous and will absorb the paint, you will need more amount of paint.
